Welcome to the Norton ERG Mentorship Program!
The Norton Healthcare Employee Resource Group (ERG) Mentorship Program is designed to develop leaders at every level, strengthen engagement and inclusion, and support career growth across the organization. Over the course of 12 months, mentors and mentees will explore five key focus areas that build confidence, expand opportunities, improve culture, and foster resilience. This program supports Norton’s commitment to employee retention, leadership pipeline development, and creating a workplace where every team member feels valued, supported, and empowered. 
 
Mentoring within Norton's ERGs is a mutual learning experience — mentors share their knowledge and experience while mentees bring new perspectives, ideas, and energy that help mentors continue to grow as leaders and learners.

Focus Areas

The program is organized around five key areas that reflect the mission and the diverse skill sets across our teams:

  1. Leadership and Confidence Development Developing leaders at every level through self-awareness, influence, and personal growth.

  2. Career Pathways and Professional Growth Guiding mentees in navigating their long-term career journey within Norton Healthcare.

  3. Culture and Inclusion in Action Creating a culture of kindness, respect, and inclusion in every workplace interaction.

  4. Strengthening Communication and Connection Strengthening interpersonal relationships and meaningful engagement across teams and departments.

  5. Building Resilience and Supporting Lifelong Growth Sustaining performance balance and long-term commitment to learning and leadership.


Program Intent and Outcomes:

  • Over 12 months, participants will:  

    • Develop leadership skills that translate across roles 

    • Build confidence and communication habits that support career advancement 

    • Strengthen engagement and collaboration 

    • Gain clarity on career pathways and growth opportunities 

    • Develop resilience and sustainable well-being practices 

    • Contribute to a more inclusive and supportive culture at Norton 

    • Expand networks and build ongoing mentor relationships 

    • Celebrate achievements and identify next steps for long-term success 
       

Program Duration

The program runs for 12 months, providing a focused timeframe for mentors and mentees to establish goals, engage in consistent check-ins, and reflect on progress. Participants are encouraged to meet at least once per month, with ongoing communication and optional group learning events throughout the program cycle.
